Advice On Play Table Cover
By Leah Stewart
I do think he would love splashing in any type of water, but this is the perfect height for him. The kids love splashing with it and making the wheel spin.
On warm days he is outside with it, or i bring it in and put other items inside like rice or beans. I wish she didn't though and just played with it like she should. He plays with it for hours, something he has never done with any other toy.
We've had it for 2 1/2 years now and have used it for multiple textures. I did want to mention that Walmart sells this exact table for $21. They just love this water table. I appreciate the easy-to-open plugs built into the basin, as it makes it easy to remove water (or sand).
We have a small balcony and it fits comfortably. I just strip her down to her diaper and let her go at it!

That's weird. And there is room enough for 2-3 kids to play happily in as well. It was a big hit with all the 1 year olds and their siblings. I would recommend this table. Obviously that is not the safest thing to do, but I let him since I was sitting right next to him. This solved my problems with her problematic dirty water touching.
Great value, I love Step 2 products. The tower is not screwed down and gets knocked over often when trying to pour water in it. Happy with product. I came in on my two boys sitting in it with the dirt.
I would rather pay more and get a quality plastic then this piece. I'm not saying it should lock into place completely so children can't remove it without adult help, but it would be easier to use (assuming the wheel actually turned) if it at least "clicked" into place so it didn't fall over so readily. It seemed like it would be a mess. We liked this toy and got much use from it over the summer in the backyard for my 2-year old son.
